The sovereign of the Duskgloom Sea will decrease her targets' ATK with her skill and gain stacks of Hatred during the battle. At maximum stacks, her skill will be enhanced. For each ally Cookie defeated, Black Pearl Cookie will gain an increased number of Hatred stacks. The enhanced skill will now trap its targets in Water Cage, dealing periodic damage for the duration of the Water Cage. Character Inspiration
| Black Pearl Cookie's name may be inspired by the film Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl's titular ship, the Black Pearl. Remnants of the Black Pearl are cursed to be undead, possibly alluding to Candy Diver Cookie's appearance. Futhermore, Black Pearl Cookie's powers seem to be based on Calypso from Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, who is also able to upsize their appearance as well as summon maelstroms and lightning. Black Pearl Cookie may also draw inspiration from Ursula the sea witch from The Little Mermaid (1989). In Episode 10 of the Explore the Black Pearl Islands story, Black Pearl Cookie mentions a "silly, naïve child who wanted to become a Cookie", likely referring to Sorbet Shark Cookie and implying that she is responsible for their ability to transform. In the film, Ursula gives Ariel a pair of legs in exchange for her voice, similarly to how Sorbet Shark Cookie is unable to speak coherently while in Cookie form. Black Pearl Cookie also bears resemblance to the sirens of Greek mythology. While sirens have been depicted in numerous ways, they are most widely known as mermaids capable of luring sailors to their deaths with their voice and songs. As a whole, the rumors of curses and ghosts surrounding the Duskgloom Sea may be a reference to the urban legend of the Bermuda Triangle, where numerous ships and planes are thought to have vanished out at sea. | |||||

| Black Pearl Cookie is the second Legendary Cookie made exclusively for Cookie Run: Kingdom, the first being {{쿠키|서리여왕}} According to her loading screen trivia, "Old sailors say that when a mermaid loses her pearl, she will be cursed to descend into the lightless abyss. According to a loading screen during Legend of the Duskgloom Sea update, "Be cautious navigating the Duskgloom Sea: these treacherous depths are more than eager to lure another careless captain... In her lobby, Black Pearl Cookie will suddenly disappear from the screen into a black whirlpool, her "true form" appearing outside the window as the water turns darker. She then returns again from the black whirlpool. This is the first instance of a Cookie having a special animation on the Cookie info screen other than their touch animation. Black Pearl Cookie is capable of traversing on both land and water tiles. Unlike Ariel Cookie, she does not have any special animations when doing so. It is heavily suggested in the Explore the Black Pearl Islands story that Black Pearl Cookie is responsible for giving Sorbet Shark Cookie their cookie form. Black Pearl Cookie's English voice actress, Erica Mendez, also provides the voice of White Lily Cookie. Black Pearl Cookie's Taiwanese voice actress, Long Xianhui, also provides the voice of Mala Sauce Cookie. Black Pearl Cookie’s internal name is “cookie0568”. Occasionally, Black Pearl Cookie and the update itself are referred to as "bingo" in the game's files.
